The AURA protects its passengers with 6 standard air bags¥ : dual-stage front air bags, head curtain side-impact air bags and front seat-mounted thorax protection air bags.

Emergency connection.

Included in the AURA's one-year subscription to the OnStar Safe & Sound Plan is Automatic Air Bag Deployment Response. Should the air bags deploy, OnStar can automatically request emergency help to your vehicle. Connect your vehicle to OnStar and a live Advisor will contact emergency services for you.

Keep stable.

The AURA is equipped with the StabiliTrak™ electronic stability control system. It uses the vehicle's electronic brake and traction control capabilities to enhance stability by helping control understeer and oversteer. Also included are ABS and Traction Control to provide more precise anti-lock braking performance and exceptional traction.

Built-in safety.

You're protected by a high-strength steel structure incorporating full-length frame rails and a safety cage in a single, welded unit. It's designed with front and rear crush zones engineered to collapse in a controlled manner, absorbing crash energy while protecting the integrity of the safety cage.
