Then there's the suspension, as comfortable on twisting country roads as it is on highways. Add the optional AIRMATIC DC1 Air Suspension System Package, with the Adaptive Damping System (ADS) &em; and the superb ride quality is elevated to the point where you feel as if you are quite simply floating along the road. The standard specification even includes 4MATIC™ permanent all-wheel drive for guaranteed driving pleasure, even if the state of the road leaves a certain amount to be desired. |

The secret of the spacious interior is an entirely new vehicle concept: Unlike conventional sedans, the R-Class is not a three-box design (engine, interior, trunk) but a two-box concept (engine, interior) in which the seating and loading areas form a single unit.
This concept is responsible for the roominess of the SUV, in which 64% of the body length is available for the interior, creating vast amounts of headroom and legroom. And all the occupants have window seats, not to mention particularly good all-round visibility thanks to the raised seating position. |
