Technology tailored to you. The available 9.3GB hard drive lets you automatically rip up to 2,900 songs and then store and catalog them by title, artist, mood, or other categories. Navigation System
For a more accurate sense of direction, the available touch-screen Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System features XM NavTraffic® with Real-Time Traffic information, using color codes and icons to indicate traffic flow, accidents and road closures. 3-D building graphics give you a better sense of your surroundings, and Lane Guidance shows you which lane to be when approaching a highway interchange or exit. You can also use Voice Recognition or the intuitive Infiniti Controller to program the system.
 
RearView Monitor
With this option, engage reverse and your Vehicle Information System monitor displays images from a discreet color camera mounted on the rear of the vehicle. Colored guidelines help give you an accurate sense of how close you are to objects behind, right up to the rear bumper, and adjusts as you turn, to show your path.
 
Safety
Impact Protection
The Infiniti Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) features dual-stage front air bags with sensors that adjust inflation rate depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. Seat-mounted side-impact air bags move with the seat to help retain optimal positioning, and roof-mounted curtain side-impact air bags help shield front and rear occupants from head injury in certain side-impact collisions.
Active head restraints (AHR), seat belt pretensioners and zone body construction also help reduce the risk of injury.
 
Enhanced Control
In an evasive maneuver, if the vehicle begins to understeer or oversteer, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) applies brake pressure to individual wheels and/or reduces engine output to help keep you on track. The Traction Control System (TCS) senses wheelspin and automatically reduces engine output and/or brakes the spinning wheel for a surer foothold when accelerating.
 
Advanced Braking
In emergency braking situations, many drivers don't brake hard enough, soon enough. Brake Assist monitors how you apply the brakes and, sensing emergency braking, applies maximum brake force for potentially shorter stops. This sharp accuracy is accompanied by Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) that helps improve braking performance by actively adjusting the amount of brake force applied to front and rear wheels.
 
Headlights and Taillights
Light illuminates from the G Coupe stronger and faster. High Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-xenon headlights offer a brighter, better defined beam pattern that conventional headlights. And rear LED taillights illuminate more rapidly than conventional bulbs, giving drivers behind you a quicker indication of your braking.
