The Saab 9-7X comes in three engine versions. the 4.2l L6 285 hp engine, the 5.3i 300 hp Active Fuel Management® V8 engine, and the 6.0i 390 hp sequential fuel-injected V8 engine. All three provide an intelligent combination of fuel efficiency and power when you need it.

Standard with the 5.3i V8 engine, Active Fuel Management is an automatic system that helps save fuel by only using half of the engine's 8 cylinders during low-demand driving situations.
