Premium Audio
After carefully mapping the interior's acoustic signature, engineers tailored the TSX with a powerful 360-watt premium sound system. Whether you are using the AM/FM radio, 6-disc CD changer, or the digital media auxiliary input jack, the TSX has you well positioned for audio performance.
Located in the centre console next to the 12-volt power outlet, this feature lets you plug in MP3-compatible and other popular portable audio players. It's designed to let you control the volume with the system's steering wheel-mounted switches so you can keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road.

Acura Navigation with Bilingual Voice Recognition
Available as an option on the TSX, the Acura Navigation System with bilingual Voice Recognition sets the standard for functionality and ease of use. The system has been enhanced with more memory and a processor to provide faster calculation time, more points of interest, additional voice recognition commands and the Zagat Survey® restaurant guide.

| Bluetooth |
 |
HandsFreeLink™ and Bluetooth® - Enabled Technology
For this year, the TSX is equipped with a standard HandsFreeLink bilingual wireless telephone interface that is designed to work with your Bluetooth® enabled mobile phone. The phone needs to be on, but can be stowed in a pocket, briefcase or purse – or anywhere inside the TSX cabin. Up to 6 different compatible mobile phones can be paired with the HandsFreeLink system at one time.

| 205-hp engine |
 |
2.4-litre, 205-hp, 16-valve, DOHC 4-cylinder engine
Power for the 2007 TSX comes from an advanced 2.4-litre DOHC i-VTEC® engine that has been modified to raise output to 205 hp. This achievement yields no less than 164 lb.-ft. of torque – which translates to an increase in performance – while still attaining low emission scores with a Tier 2 Bin 5 rating.

| i-VTEC® |
 |
Intelligent Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic (i-VTEC®) Control
The dual camshaft profiles of the compact, race-inspired i-VTEC engine deliver greater power across the entire rpm range. Offering a boost of low-end torque for faster off the line speed and high-end rpm power for passing on highways, the i-VTEC engine possesses an abundant amount of force. Plus, with the added engineering benefit of Variable Timing Control (VTC) engine intake and the smoother power delivery of the Drive-By-Wire Throttle System ™ the i-VTEC engine is exceedingly responsive and efficient. |
| Transmission |
 |
Transmission
Sporting drivers will marvel at this short throw, precision 6-speed manual transmission. A masterful accomplishment, this track-ready gearbox owes its high thrill factor to properly-spaced ratios and the uncannily short, light throws required to stir its full performance potential. It is worth noting that the transmission case is made from magnesium alloy, a material typically reserved for racing applications. Equally lively is the optional 5-speed Sequential SportShift® automatic. So whichever transmission you choose, you'll always get an enthusiastic drive.

| Suspension |
 |
Suspension
The TSX features an extremely rigid unibody structure and 4-wheel independent suspension with front double-wishbone and rear multi-link design. The suspension is track-tuned to reduce lift, dive and body roll, while boasting gas-pressurized shock absorbers and large front and rear stabilizer bars.

| Leather Seating |
 |
Leather Seating
To complement its smooth ride, the TSX features soft, durable leather. Every comfortable, supportive seat is upholstered in hand-selected leather. And to help maintain its quality over the long haul, it's perforated for ventilation. Nestled between the deep side bolsters of the driver's seat is an adjustable lumbar support system. Its design complements the curve of your lower back over a substantial vertical range, ensuring superior driving comfort.
For cold days, two-level heated seats are standard for both the driver and front passenger, with independent controls located on either side of the centre console.
|
| Automatic Climate Control |
 |
Dual-Zone Climate Control System
Fine-tune your TSX's interior, or allow its automatic climate control system to do it for you. Both the driver and front passenger enjoy separate controls to suit their individual comfort. It will even hold the settings under changing ambient conditions. Of course, should you desire a boost or decrease in fan speed, you can control the system manually. |
| Filtration |
 |
Air Filtration
Whether you're in urban traffic or on a winding country road, the TSX's air filtration system helps keep smog, dust and pollen out of the cabin. It's capable of filtering virtually 100% of particulate matter 8 microns or larger (the size of most pollen) and 40% of particles down to 0.3 microns in size (the size of most diesel emissions).
|
| Moonroof |
 |
Moonroof
Whether it's the sun, moon and stars, or just the festive lights of the city, the TSX's power-operated moonroof can be opened for unobstructed views, raised slightly for airflow, or closed to the elements. The moonroof‘s tinted glass and sliding sunshade also help control radiant heat when the sun is overhead.

In the TSX, luxury is a gracious host to the senses. A solid emblem now graces a thicker-gripping steering wheel. The automatic transmission shift knob is upholstered in leather and mimics the feel of the manual transmission shifter. A driver's seat memory system lets you secure that perfect pitch for spirited driving. And soft blue ambient lighting illuminates the driver's console. Standard since the TSX's inception, soft, perforated leather upholstery graces all five seats.

| Safety |
| Airbags |
 |
Airbags
The TSX is equipped with dual-stage, dual-threshold airbags for the driver and front passenger. These airbags are designed to minimize the potential for airbag injury while providing head and chest protection for the occupants in the event of a collision. The TSX front airbags deploy at one of two rates depending on the degree of impact and seatbelt usage. At lower speeds, the airbag inflators are triggered in sequence, resulting in slower overall airbag deployment with less initial force. At higher speeds, both inflators operate simultaneously for full, immediate inflation, to correspond with the greater impact force.
The front side airbags are located in the outboard seat side bolsters and deploy when sensors detect that a side impact is occurring. To help prevent injury to a small child or small-statured adult, the TSX also features an Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS). A total of seven sensors in the passenger seatback determine the height and position of the occupant; this helps the system determine if it is safe to deploy the side airbag.
The goal of the side curtain airbags is to help reduce head injury in a side impact of sufficient force. The side curtain airbag module is located in a long, slender compartment positioned along the roofline inside the vehicle. Because the airbag module extends from the A-pillar to the C-pillar, it protects both the front and rear passengers.
|
| Braking |
 |
4-Wheel Disc Brakes With Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
The TSX has 300-mm internally-ventilated rotors at the front and 260-mm solid rotors at the rear. The calipers are exceptionally rigid to reduce fade in heavy, repeated brake application. The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps maintain steering control when braking hard, or when braking on a wet or slippery road surface. The Brake Assist feature senses a panic stop and applies all available boost to help you stop quickly.
|
| Stability and Traction |
 |
Stability and Traction
The advanced Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA®) system with Traction Control automatically detects and corrects understeer or oversteer situations, sometimes before you're even aware there's a need. The system intuitively analyzes the conditions and then reduces throttle and/or applies braking to individual wheels. Should a loss of traction occur during acceleration on slippery surfaces, Traction Control compensates by adjusting the amount of power put on the ground to help the tires retain traction control.
|
| Lighting |
 |
High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Headlights
In a TSX, you have the power to illuminate even the darkest roads with high-powered High-Intensity Discharge headlights. Producing an intensely brilliant beam of focused light, HID headlights enhance your ability to identify what's ahead so you'll have an incredibly clear long-range outlook.
Door Mirror Signals
Door mirrors with integrated side turn signals, enhance your visibility to other motorists, while complementing the sleek and sporty lines of the TSX.
